Plugin Updates: Wall Worm plugins recompiled for Max 2019

Shawn Olson has released all of his Wall Worm plugins for Max 2019. The scripted plugins have all been tested and work with Max 2019, and the following plugins have been recompiled:

Plugin Update: Modelling

Changes for v3.1.1 beta are:
- Adds support for Max 2019
- Adds support for Arnold renderer
- Fixes Z-Offset being applied twice for segments with Bend off in Point-cloud mode
- Fixes a bug computing Corner on first vertex of closed splines
- Fixes resizing Note nodes when Style Editor is zoomed
- Fixes 'Simple Y Offset mode' with collinear vertices

Plugin Update: Modelling

Changes for v1.072 are:
- Fixes a problem with rendering in Corona if stopped objects disappear

Plugin Update: Modelling / Texturing

Changes for v6.0.3 beta are:
- Adds support for Max 2019
- Adds support for Arnold
- Fixes Distribution by Path generating the same distribution for each sub-spline
- Fixes Display->Viewport Mode overriding the Render Mode on V-Ray IPR

Plugin Update: Modelling / Animation

Changes for v5.2.9.14704 are:
- Adds support for Max 2019
- Dynamics can now be simulated on strands with multiple strand groups
- Texture map channels now work on Frizz, Curl, and Gravity modifiers

Plugin Update: Atmospherics

Changes for v5.0 include:
- FumeFX GPU accelerated display has been integrated within the Max (2016+) viewport
- The Data preview has been changed and allows user to choose voxel display size
- New FumeFX toolbar provides access to FumeFX and source creation as well as simulation control
- The new advection type lets you easily create fluid flows that minimize numerical losses
- Simulation core redesign allows usage of complex geometry instead of using proxies
- Smooth retiming regardless of simulation sub-steps and retiming scale factor
- Depending on scene setup, the latest version of FumeFX delivers up to 20% faster simulations
- Adds the ability to retime simulation during the Wavelet Turbulence pass
- Vorticity II optimizations include faster calculations and lower memory requirements
- Improves simulation scaling
- New lossy .fxd compression for per-channel compression quality
- You can now mix lossless and lossy channels inside the same cache file
- State of the art multithreaded .fxd I/O for ultra fast cache saving and loading
- Load caches at user-defined reduced resolution for easier manipulation and rendering setup
- Minimizing the grid during cache saving produces smaller files that save and render faster
- Write OpenVDB caches in a form that makes them easily readable for Arnold, Redshift and Houdini
- Various OpenVDB cache optimizations and fixes
- Gridless Advection lets you use exported velocities or 3D textures to create additional detail
- Adds direct rendering support for Corona renderer
- Workstation licenses are now more affordable
- New rental options available (1 year or 3 month terms)

FumeFX is available for Max 2014 to 2018 and costs $695.

New Plugin: Utilities

Spline Data is a commercial MAXScript for getting realtime information about the spline curves in your Max scene. It shows a lot of helpful data on a simple rollout floater which can be placed anywhere on your screen. It will instantly inform you about the number of shapes, curves, segments, vertices, etc. in your scene or selection. The tool is ideal for users who often work with a great amount of curves, such as architects, graphic designers, engineers, CG animators and motion graphers.

Spline Data is available for Max 2012 to 2018 and costs $4.


Plugin Update: Import / Export

Changes for v2.2 are:
- Adds support for edited normals and smoothing groups
- Vertex colors can now be used instead of textures, saving bandwidth
- Adds support for transparency to the standard and physical materials
- Adds support for shadows
- Ambient occlusion textures are now available for PBR materials
- Fixes an export script crash for texture files missing from a physical material
- The Facebook-ready GLB format now has a shortcut export option in the menu bar
- GLB files are now displayed and can be opened in the App Manager
- Adds a workaround for a Max Python bug which crashed the export script in older versions of Max
- Verge3D for 3ds Max is now distributed within an installer
- Adds a 'when hovered' puzzle which extends web page-like experience to the realm of 3D
- The web app preloader can now be customized
- Adds a progress bar when exporting or sneak peeking your scenes in Max
- Fixes the blinking canvas issue which occurred when tapping the screen on iOS devices
- Fixes a rotation issue for parented hierarchies
- Fixes the behavior of the animation offset option assigned for objects
- The animation loop mode option has been fixed

Plugin Update: Utilities

Changes for v1.4.5 are:
- New 'Folder Selection' mode for marking multiple folders to change their color, hide or star them
- Adds a simple Folders loader to show when a directory is still being loaded
- You can now switch back and forth through folders using the mouse Back/Forward buttons
- You can now search in EXIF image data to find images by the information saved in their files
- Adds some smart contextual tooltips to get you familiar with Connecter's basics faster
- A number of bug fixes and improvements

Changes for v1.70 are:
- The 'Change spline direction CW/CCW' tools now work properly on straight lines
- Fixes an issue with the 'Explode to splines' function

Changes for v2.5.62 are:
- Fixes a Max issue that could affect the performance of geometry translation
- Adds a new Houdini option to normalize normal maps affected by a transformation at SOP level
- Fixes a bug that could cause a crash when using custom AOV shaders
- Removes a recently introduced benign proxy shader parameter warning
- Fixes a bug that could cause corruption or missing reflection/refraction on some puzzle-mattes

New Plugin: MCG

This MCG modifier allows you to generate multiple camera projected UV's with independant resolution per camera. It is essentially an MCG version of the CameraMapGemini plugin.

New Plugin: Bitmap I/O

The PFM plugin allows you to natively load/save PFM files directly in Max as you can with other bitmaps. The PFM format (Portable Float Map) is a high-dynamic range (HDR) format. This format is necessary to compile HDR textures into the Source Engine, and can also used with other applications.
