NDL announced that it has signed an agreement with Discreet that will give gmax licensees a direct export path to the NetImmerse game engine and development toolkit. Under the new agreement, developers can also use MAXImmerse to preview their content in real-time on Xbox, PlayStation 2, PC or Gamecube platforms. The new level of connectivity allows game developers to accelerate their work and have the option of publishing "gmax Game Packs" for select titles.
