Stéphane Marty, author of the VirtuaLight renderer has released L-FORMS Studio Pro, a program dedicated to the creation of experimental, fractal and organic forms modeled using L-Systems. This technique is especially useful for creating objects that derive their complexity from repetitive growth procedures such as plants or trees. L-FORMS Studio Pro lets you experiment with L-Systems by dropping directives onto a hierarchical tree and allows you to create geometry via polygons, metaballs or other primitives. Animation and mutation of objects is supported as well as DXF and POV format export.
