Based on Victor Hugo's "Les Misérables"; 68 days of animation and modeling, 156 hours of rendering, and probably untrackable hours of research have led to 9 minutes and 10 seconds of animation in Gavroche - a single-man (Jean-Claude Rosay) production in 3ds max 4.1.
As a beginner, he might not win an Oscar with this - but he's got our 15 Minutes of Fame(!)
