Real-Time, Through-the-lens Compositing of Effects Shots A Great Advance for Directors and Performers

OXFORD, UK May 29th, 2002 – Vicon, 2d3 and Kaydara have teamed up to show an advanced pipeline for pre-visualisation during the creation of effects shots. Featuring a Vicon 8i motion capture system, boujou2 for automated tracking of effects footage, and Filmbox 3.5 for visualization of the composited shot, the pipeline allows directors to see a highly accurate representation of the finished shot while directing the talent during the take.
