TORONTO, Canada (May 30, 2002) -- Side Effects Software has lowered the price of Houdini Select and is providing free site licenses for its rendering application Houdini Mantra to all customers who are currently on the Annual Upgrade Plan for one or more full Houdini licenses.

The company also says it will announce two new 3D products in the near future: a stand-alone character animation program and a compositing/image effects program.
