The Avid|DS v6 family is now available through Avid's worldwide reseller channel. The Avid|DS HD system, which comes with 40 minutes of uncompressed HD capacity, starts at a SRP of $190,000. The Avid|DS system starts at $115,000 with four hours of storage. Avid|DS HD Editor starts at $85,000. Software upgrades start at $5,000, and customers purchasing Avid Assurance will receive free software upgrades to v6.0.
