Surprising news indeed. According to the PR, the Video Toaster 2 system provides a complete editing suite, uncompressed recording and broadcast preview for 3ds max animators. It complements 3ds max's toolset with compositing, video editing, video painting, video in and out, and digital disk recording (DDR) capabilities. Video Toaster 2 is available now at a SRP of $2995.
