Robert McNeel & Associates announced the release of Rhino 3.0, the latest version of their NURBS modeling software. There are lots of new features in this release, including an enhanced user interface (dockable dialogs, pop-up layers dialog, discoverable command options, etc.), OpenGL hardware acceleration and anti-aliasing support, many new viewport modes (ghosted, flat, X-ray, curvature, draft angle, zebra, environment map, etc.), grouping objects into blocks, cooperative worksessions, etc. Upgrade from 1.x and 2.0 is $295 for a commercial license.
