The Hollywood Reporter writes "The future of Centropolis Effects is cloudy now that Warner Bros. has pulled the company's visual effects shots on "The Matrix" sequels, reassigning the work to Sony Pictures Imageworks this week."

And CGchannel writes "We just received confirmation from several sources that Centropolis FX based in Los Angeles has just shut down its operations yesterday (Tuesday, December 17th 2002)."
