Discreet has made available the File Link Extension, a software module that enables Max users to open their AutoCAD or Autodesk Architectural Desktop files in 3ds max 6 to link their AutoCAD or Architectural Desktop files with 3ds max 6.

As changes are made to the original AutoCAD or Architectural Desktop file, 3ds max will reload these changes and update the scene accordingly. The File Link Extension is now available to subscription members.
