Andersson Technologies announced a lens distortion tool to complement its SynthEyes camera tracker. The Lens Distortion Tool is a standalone program that can apply or remove lens distortion, calculated by SynthEyes, to image sequences in Targa, TIFF, BMP, PNG, Cineon, or SGI format.

The software enables lens distortion, calculated by SynthEyes, to be removed from original imagery or added to computer-generated inserts. It offers both a graphical interface and a command-line interface that allows easy batch workflow integration. Once started, multi-processor and multi-threading support provide speedy run times.
