The fast development of Ornatrix seems to have stirred the waters. According to a message posted at Discreet's forums by HairFX developer Ivan Kolev, active development of HairFX has resumed with the goal to "at least match [their] competition's major advantages (styling, raytracing) until this year's Siggraph."
