CG Academy announced the first DVD in their their new modeling series. The first title is by accomplished modeler Dominic Qwek, and deals with the topic of Sub-D Creature Modeling at an advanced level.

The DVD gives you an in-depth insight into Dominic’s workflow and guides you from prepping your concept artwork, through discrete stages that build on what has come before until a final high quality model is arrived at. This highly structured approach yields a model that is not only true to the design, but which also has polygonal detail only where it is needed and which also has animation friendly topology.
