Comments:

Its hardly the first full CG movie created with 3ds max. I Believe Kaena was the first done in max 2.5 through 3. THere have 3 or 4 others since then.

The news item says that they are in post production on THEIR first CGI feature film, not THE first CGI feature film made with 3ds Max.

It may however be the first movie renderd to look like a video game.

What video game is this a movie of?

I have seen X box 360 games with comparable renders.

be a little encouraging. As far as max is concerned the short rockfish by blur studios is just as good as final fantasy: the movie.about this movie, it was definitely made in a small amount of time and they might not have used all their resources on it.it's ok! though and guys be encouraging.they used max 100% to make it besides compositing software.
