SplutterFish is pleased to announce
that the 64-bit version of its Brazil Rendering System is now available. Brazil r/s now takes advantage of the latest in 64-bit technology to improve speed, handle even larger, more complex datasets, and provide 64-bit precision for greater quality. Daniel Martínez Lara has posted a UI for Blender that resembles the ones from Max & Maya.
(Updated June 12, 2007) More information posted on Microsoft's upcoming multi-touch based PC. Also of note, here's a link to a previous Bit-tech.net article that discusses research on multi-touch panels and transparent interfaces. According to the article Apple "is reported to have filed some interesting multi-touch patents", so we may be seeing some healthy competition soon.
