Corona is a high-performance (un)biased photorealistic renderer. The speed advantage is gained by using the Embree ray tracing kernels from Intel. It can use path tracing, irradiance maps, photon mapping and light cache, with the capability of mixing them using primary and secondary solvers. It is also an interactive renderer and uses 100% the same render engine as for the final frame, as well as supporting all of the final frame rendering features. Demo version is available here. 32-bit: No 64-bit: Yes |

David Gould Digital Concepts | Illustrate! v6.0 |
R2017 | $395 |
Description | |||
Illustrate! is a non-photorealistic renderer. It allows you to render your 3D scene in a variety of artistic styles. The most common is the cel or toon style where the objects are rendered with a single or limited number of colors and the edges are drawn with a line. This version of Illustrate! is particularly adept at this style of rendering. It includes a lot of advanced features for creating film resolution cel renderings. Illustrate! also renders illustrations. Most commonly these are technical illustrations with hidden-lines eliminated. Illustrate! supports a huge variety of line styles so you can create complex illustrations. One amazing feature of Illustrate! is its ability to render these styles out to vector artwork. It currently supports Shockwave Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Autocad DXF output. This allows you to render your 3D scenes for displaying on the Internet or for inclusion with other vector graphics. Demo version is available here. 32-bit: No 64-bit: Yes |

Parallaxter sprl | PresenZ Plugin for V-Ray for 3dsMax v2.5.8 |
R2017 R2018 R2019 R2020 R2021 | €200 per month |
Description | |||
PresenZ is a volumetric movie format that allows 6 degrees of freedom in precomputed images. With PresenZ, the viewer is able to move inside the image, get closer to objects or characters, and even look behind them. PresenZ can achieve the same visual fidelity audiences are used to from high-end previsualisation, feature length motion pictures or pre-rendered animations. This plugin can be used to replace your V-Ray camera and render directly to the PresenZ file format. Demo version is available here. 32-bit: No 64-bit: Yes |

R2017 R2018 R2019 R2020 R2021 R2022 R2023 R2024 | €495 |
Description | |||
Maxwell is a render engine based on the physics of real light, programmed to reproduce the behavior of light in an accurate way. All of the elements in Maxwell, such as light emitters, materials shaders, cameras, etc., are based on physically accurate models. Maxwell is an unbiased renderer, which means that with sufficient render time the rendered solution will always converge to the correct result without the introduction of artifacts. Learning to use Maxwell is extremely easy. The user need only specify the amount of time to spend processing the render and Maxwell will automatically optimize its internal calculations to obtain the best result in the render period. Demo version is available here. 32-bit: No 64-bit: Yes |

Chaos Group | V-Ray 6 v6.00.04 |
R2018 R2019 R2020 R2021 R2022 R2023 | From €418.80 / year |
Description | |||
V-Ray 6 is a complete rendering solution, which combines the power of the distinguished V-Ray rendering engine with the flexibility and unprecedented speed of the interactive rendering system V-Ray RT, now running on GPUs. Capable of making accurate reflections and refractions clean or glossy and blurred it helps achieve astonishing realism in the computer generated realm. Simulation of focusing (Depth-of-Field) helps in simulating real-life cameras. Different methods of illumination simulation as well as caustics calculations help artists achieve great rendering performance or fineart photorealistic images. Adaptive antialiasing is one of its advanced features. It includes sophisticated multipass methods as well as simple approaches. V-Ray supports subsurface scattering which gives you the power to create true photorealistic materials like wax smoked glass jelly etc. V-Ray also offers network distributed rendering. It gives incredible power to studios with many computer boxes to use all the CPU power connected to the network for rendering within a single frame. Convergence | Dali Renderer v1.5.50 |
R2018 R2019 R2020 R2021 R2022 R2023 R2024 | $150 per year |
Description | |||
Dali Renderer is a fast, CPU-only AVX-optimized spectral Unidirectional Path Tracer. The classic simplicity of unidirectional Path Tracing allows Dali Renderer to remain fast, and the unique, previously unknown REDS algorithm in conjunction with Path Guiding technology allows efficient rendering of scenes with surface and volumetric caustics. Dali Renderer can work in two modes: RGB or Spectral. In spectral mode, it uses AVX-optimized HERO Wavelength extension for continuous spectrum. It delivers predictable, reliable, and physically accurate results. Demo version is available here. 32-bit: No 64-bit: Yes |
