02.05.2004 This is a set of shaders to help reach the aim of lighting from the environment rather than with synthetic lights. The shaders include: - Spherical Harmonics: a group of mathematical functions that can be used to encode simple diffuse lighting into your shader - Spherical Harmonics Stack: combines a number of cgShaders together into one super spherical harmonic - Ambient Occlusion: can be used with an environment as a form of environment based lighting - Normal Light Map: can be used to represent the diffuse pass for the lighting, which is very quick - Exposure: works the same as any image adjustment function, all calculation is done in floating space - Reflect: a way of adding a custom environment to your reflections - Add: a legacy shader for simply adding the result of a number of maps cgShaders is shareware, so if you are using it on commercial projects the registration fee is $49.
