Plugin Update: Particles
Changes for v0.16015 beta are:
- You can now select the GPU for OpenCL acceleration within the Particle Bind Solver settings
- Adds a MAXScript method to open the editor of a tyFlow object
- You can now use the arrow keys on your keyboard to align selected events in the editor
- Particles scattered on spawn parent meshes are now scattered uniformly
- You can now spawn particles on the faces of parent particle meshes with specific matID values

The Material Texture Loader is a commercial MAXScript designed to quickly load in textures, create a material and apply that to your scene. It works especially well with a PBR texture workflow, but can be used for any type of texture that needs to be loaded as part of a material. It works with V-Ray, Corona and Standard materials.

New Plugin: Particles
All of you that were interested will already know it, but Tyson Ibele has started the open beta of TyFlow, the unofficial PFlow replacement aimed at 'bringing Max back to the 21st century'.
The beta is completely open, not limited in any way, can also be used commercially and comes with a few sample files to get you started.
It can be downloaded here, where you can also find very good documentation. At the moment it's not clear how long the beta version will work, but I'm sure we'll find out soon.

SmoothBoolean creates smooth transitions between ProBoolean meshes, saving hours on cleaning up messy topology created with boolean cuts.
