New Plugin: Connections
Nyx Voltron provides a very powerful and efficient workflow between Max and After Effects with interactive capabilities. You can link anything between Max and AE with as little baking as possible. For instance you can link a Bezier Controller from Max to a property in AE, this will transfer the keys and tangents and recreates the exact same non-baked curve in AE.
Nyx Voltron is available for Max 2014 to 2016 and normally costs €99. Up to the end of July you can get a free trial to test it out. A demo version is available here.

This commercial MAXScript allows you to copy/paste a DWG selection from AutoCAD or DraftSight into Max. As it only copies the selection, it's easy to split a DWG into separate objects. It also offers options for removing materials, unlinking blocks, deleting empty layers, flattening splines and more.

Using the plugin, you can check and repair your model, scale it and choose which material you want to print it with. Next Limit have announced that because their dollar pricing for Maxwell Render hasn't been such a good deal lately compared to the Euro, they have decided to drop their dollar price for a while to even things out.
